Dog peanut butter can have several harmful components:

• Aflatoxins – These are naturally occurring toxins from mold found in peanuts. Even at low levels, they can be harmful over time.
High Omega-6 Fatty Acids – Excessive omega-6s contribute to inflammation, worsening conditions like arthritis, allergies, and cancer.
• Xylitol – This artificial sweetener is highly toxic to dogs, causing rapid insulin spikes and life-threatening hypoglycemia.
• Added Sugars & Salt – Many peanut butter contain excess sugar and salt, which can contribute to obesity, diabetes, and kidney issues.
• Hydrogenated Oils (Trans Fats) – Some brands add these to improve texture, but they can lead to heart disease and weight gain.

• Lectins & Anti-Nutrients – Peanuts contain lectins that can contribute to leaky gut
